Press Assistant Job Description As a Press Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuous operation of our equipment by supplying it with raw materials. Your responsibilities include keeping accurate inventories of these materials and conducting tests to ensure that customer specifications are consistently met. Additionally, you will perform inspections to check for defects such as splices, breaks, and roll damage. Responsibilities Supply equipment with necessary raw materials to ensure non-stop production. Maintain accurate inventories of raw materials through cycle counting. Test materials to ensure customer specifications are met. Inspect for defects including splices, breaks, and roll damage. Essential Skills Experience in machine operation, particularly in die cutting and printing. Mechanically inclined with the ability to adjust machines and troubleshoot issues. Previous manufacturing experience, ideally in a die cutting and/or printing environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in converting rolls of paper to blank labels. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is climate and humidity controlled, ensuring comfort throughout your shift. Employees are required to wear steel-toed footwear for safety. Shifts are structured as follows: 1st shift runs from Monday to Friday, 5:45am to 2:15pm, and 2nd shift runs from Monday to Friday, 2:00pm to 12:30am. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Plymouth, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
