Injection Molding & 3D Printing Technician Medical Device Prototyping

Our client, a leading medical device manufacturing and advanced prototyping organization, is seeking an Injection Molding & 3D Printing Technician to join their team. As an Injection Molding & 3D Printing Technician, you will be part of the Product Development Engineering department supporting the Prototyping and Digital Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a hands-on mechanical mindset, and adaptability which will align successfully in the organization.

Injection Molding & 3D Printing Technician

Durham, NC

$24 $26 per hour

Operate and monitor injection molding and 3D printing equipment to produce prototype components
Perform minor process adjustments and troubleshoot equipment to ensure part quality
Inspect, measure, and verify dimensional accuracy using precision tools
Execute post-processing tasks such as sanding, cleaning, assembly, and finishing of parts
Maintain materials, equipment, and perform routine preventative maintenance

High school diploma or equivalent required
15 years of experience in injection molding, plastics, or 3D printing environments
Hands-on experience operating or troubleshooting machinery in a lab or manufacturing setting
Ability to work in a physical environment, including lifting up to 50 lbs
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures
