Prior to becoming a Pressman, an individual may have held positions such as a Bindery Operator, where they would gain experience with assembling, binding, and trimming printed materials, a Prepress Technician, handling the setting up of printing presses for operation, or an Ink Mixer, where they would gain expertise in color theory and ink mixing.
