Vancouver printing company is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bindery Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience in print finishing and be comfortable operating a variety of bindery equipment.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain bindery and finishing equipment
Perform folding, creasing, cutting, perforating, and booklet-making tasks
Set up and run jobs according to production specifications
Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
Monitor workflow and meet production deadlines
Perform routine equipment maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized
Preferred Experience
Experience with folding, creasing, cutting, and other print-finishing processes
Familiarity with equipment such as:
oMorgana Perforator/Creaser
oFolders
oPolar Cutters
oBooklet Makers
Ability to read and interpret job tickets and production instructions
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
Previous bindery or print finishing experience preferred
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to lift and move materials as required
Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
