Overtime Note: Must be available for overtime as needed on Thursdays and/or Fridays. ----- PrideStaff - Greenville is seeking a skilled and quality-focused Printer / Press Operator for a leading film manufacturing facility for our customer in the Greer, SC area . In this technical role, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and daily maintenance of sophisticated industrial printing and film converting equipment. We are looking for a dependable professional who understands the nuances of processing high-quality polyester and specialty performance films on large-format, roll-to-roll flexo presses. ----- Printer / Press Operator Primary Responsibilities include: Your main responsibility is the uninterrupted operation and monitoring of the printing press , ensuring all specialty film runs meet strict quality and alignment standards. Press Operation: Setup, run, and adjust industrial large-format, roll-to-roll flexo presses to process specialty performance films. Material Monitoring: Monitor production runs continuously to detect and correct print defects, tracking issues, or material flaws in the polyester film. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting on printing and converting machinery. Quality Control: Inspect finished rolls against exact technical specifications to ensure high-quality production outputs. Raw Material Handling: Safely load and unload large rolls of substrate and specialty films onto the equipment machinery. Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and strictly follow all industrial safety protocols and machinery guard guidelines. Printer / Press Operator Requirements include: Proven Experience: Direct experience operating large-format, roll-to-roll flexo presses or specialized industrial film-converting equipment is required. Substrate Knowledge: Previous experience working with polyester and specialty performance films is highly preferred. Mechanical Aptitude: Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose machine issues and adjust settings on the fly. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for the duration of a 12-hour shift and comfortably lift and maneuver industrial manufacturing materials. Schedule Commitment: Ability to work a consistent Mon-Wed 6am-6pm schedule and work required overtime on Thursdays and Fridays based on production volume. Detail Oriented: A sharp eye for color consistency, print registration, and material alignment. Join Us.
