JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/objective
Set up, adjust, maintain and operate a Mark Andy 2200 - 13 flexographic press and/or Heidelberg Speed Master DI 74 Offset Press.
Review job tickets and verify stock, inks, and dies are available and used as specified.
Sets up machine; installs anilox, inks, correct stock, die, and plates.
Sets impressions and registers print-to-print and print-to-die.
Loads the specified type of paper/substrate and adds appropriate ink.
Complete all start-up checks and obtain start approval.
Performs general maintenance to the press.
Assist in the training of current and new Operators.
Understands all the documents related to the printing process and adheres to specification requirements.
Reads Manufacturing Orders and performs work as assigned by department supervisor.
May mix inks, and or produce printing plates
As necessary may cycle machinery, unpack, catch, bag, shrink wrap, to produce sub-assemblies or finished product.
Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
As necessary cycle machinery, unpack, catch, bag, shrink wrap to produce sub-assemblies or finished products.
Log production quantities and completed operations into ERP System.
Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
Place finished goods in designated staging areas.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Maintain quality and a great attitude.
QUALIFICATIONS

Extensive experience setting up and operating Flexographic and/or Offset Printing Press.
Experience in a fast-paced printing environment.
A desire to succeed.
Attention to detail.
Ability to maintain good attendance.
Computer literate.
Good mechanical ability.
Math and measuring skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office Applications.
Work environment
Climate controlled environment.
Physical demands
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, hear and sit. The associate is occasionally required to stoop, push, pull, feel and grasp with hands and arms.
The associate must exert up to 5 pounds of force occasionally and/or a light amount of force frequently to carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include concentrated attention, close vision, far vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to bring objects into sharp focus.
May be required to lift up to 40lbs
Preferred, but not required
Digital Press experience.
Experience with ERP Software.
