Position Summary

The Automatic Press Operator will be responsible for complete job setup, press operation, print quality control, and meeting daily production goals while maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities
-Set up and operate automatic screen printing presses
-Perform accurate multi-color registration
-Adjust off-contact, squeegee pressure, floodbar settings, and press speeds
-Mix and modify inks as needed
-Monitor print quality throughout production runs
-Troubleshoot printing and press issues in real time
-Maintain a clean and organized work area
-Follow production schedules and meet daily output targets

Required Qualifications
-Minimum 2 years experience operating an automatic screen printing press
-Strong understanding of multi-color registration
-Experience printing plastisol inks (water-based and specialty inks are a plus)
-Knowledge of proper curing temperatures and quality control
-Ability to troubleshoot common printing issues
-Reliable attendance and professional work ethic
-Able to work in a warehouse heating environment
-Able to stand for a long period of time printing

Preferred Experience
-Experience with automatic presses
-Experience with specialty inks such as puff, discharge, or high-density
-Basic mechanical troubleshooting ability
-Experience working in a structured production environment
