Responsibilities
Position Responsibilities:
- Prioritize and schedule print jobs based on deadlines, machine availability, and staffing to optimize workflow and resource allocation
- Act as a gatekeeper for the production workflow, directing items between different stages to ensure seamless job transitions
- Lead and oversee daily packing operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in preparing products for shipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records of printing supplies and materials, ensuring that workstations are well-equipped for daily operations
- Train new hires in prepress processes, equipment operation, quality standards, and safety protocols to foster a competent team
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers and vendors, establishing strong relationships to ensure satisfaction and effective communication
- Other projects or duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree and 0 to 1 plus years of related experience or High School Diploma/General Education Degree and 4 plus years of specific experience
- Knowledge and ease of use for MS Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
- Proven experience in a prepress or printing environment, with a strong understanding of print production processes.
