Your Job Description: As the Printing Technician, you will work with digital inkjet in our customization cells, helping produce custom products for customers. The primary duty is to be able to troubleshoot equipment and prevent excessive amounts of downtime from occurring. This position will be responsible for being the support system for customization functions within the cell, as well as keeping up with throughput and equipment technology. Your Shift Hours: 2nd Shift Monday-Friday 3:00pm- 11:00pm CST Duties and Responsibilities General Duties Support and comply with safety and security policies to promote a healthy work environment. Ensure Quality Control to achieve high standards for production of customer orders. Working with a team. Adhere to housekeeping standards - 6S. When necessary, be able to read work orders and execute details for production orders. Responsible for detecting defects during print and assembly production. Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment - Including respond to indicator lights and display screens and adjust machine components as needed. Must be able to communicate technical status to Graphics Lead on 1st shift operation's team Printing Equipment Setup and Maintenance Duties Perform basic machine setup and troubleshooting as needed. Able to understand and handle color matching and color validation for custom printing orders. Responsible for overall maintaining of printers, including starting & stopping of printer, and running the print process as needed. Ensure your shift is set up and running properly to ensure printing is at its highest quality. Responsible for cleaning and maintenance as needed. Education and Experience Requirements Automation/Technical knowledge is preferred. Ability to understand how to troubleshoot equipment. And willing to develop technical skills through in-depth training. Possess general level of experience in digital printing. Operator experience is preferred. Has worked within a team environment.
