We are seeking a compassionate, driven, and highly organized Assistant Director to join our leadership team and help elevate the impact of our sheltered workshop operations. Key Responsibilities Direct the Community Employment Program, Giving Gardens Greenhouse, and office support team. Serve as a communication bridge between the Executive Director and internal departments, building trust and cohesion across senior management. Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies including DMH, Medicaid Waiver HCBS rules, DOL, DESE, and OSHA. Act as liaison for senior management and external stakeholders. Complete annual and bi-annual application/documentation for DMH and DESE recertification. Oversee CMSE's annual registration with the State of Missouri. Collaborate on bi-annual 14(c) certification filings with the Director and Production Manager. Lead strategic projects that further CMSE's mission and operational excellence. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Social Services , or a related field. 5-7 years of experience working in developmental disabilities and/or vocational services strongly preferred. Familiarity with some of the following: VR, DESE, DMH , DOL , and Medicaid Waiver . Proven communication and leadership skills; comfortable executing disciplinary actions when necessary. Ability to cultivate positive working relationships across all levels of staff. Must pass background checks (abuse/neglect and driving record). Apply Today!
