Role Summary:
The Coordinator of Live Experience is responsible for leading and executing all aspects of live production for CITY2, Saint Louis CITY's MLS NEXT PRO team. This role partners with all departments in the organization to develop and execute run of show for matches, sponsorship features/assets and internal content. The individual in this role will be responsible for executing all technical components of a live soccer match and will serve as primary contact for the control room for CITY2 matches. Additionally, this individual is responsible for serving as the main point of contact for external and internal special events for executing digital videoboards and LEDs and IPTV signage.
Lastly, this individual will assist with the day-to-day planning and execution of pre, post and in-match ceremonies, promotions, activations, and East Plaza programming for STL City SC matchdays. This position will report to the Director of Live Experience.
Key Responsibilities
Produce CITY2 matches. This includes but is not limited to fan facing in-stadium activations, features and live interviews
Coordinate, track and maintain digital signage (Videoboard, Field LED, Fascia LED, and IPTV) inventory, programming, and proof of performance reporting for CITY2 matches
Assist the Live Experience Sr. Coordinator and Live Experience Manager with scheduling and the operational execution of all on-field activations for CITY matches
Coordinate and manage in-stadium tech for special events which use videoboards, LEDs and/or IPTV
Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
1-3 years' experience in professional sports or in a college athletic department
1-3 years' experience showcalling in professional or collegiate sports
1-3 years' stage-managing live events and/or collegiate/professional sports
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Strong communication and leaderships skills - both written and interpersonal
Ability to work independently and/or with a team in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work long hours with physical activity (standing, walking, lifting)
Flexibility in availability as hours will be non-traditional
Creativity and ability to actively engage in brainstorm sessions
Proficient with Microsoft office and can learn new software quickly
Highly organized, resourceful, detailed-oriented, quick learner
Strong customer service and communication skills
Prior marketing, promotions, and/or sponsorship activations experience is a plus
