Job Summary

Hybrid position located in Dallas, TX

At Baylor Scott & White Dallas Foundation, an effective marketing and communications strategy is essential to engaging and inspiring donors who make a transformational impact on healthcare. The Officer of Digital and Print Design Production will create and execute high-quality digital and print materials that advance the Foundation's mission and enhance donor engagement. Reporting to the Manager of Marketing and Communications, this role combines expertise in graphic design, project management and production workflows to deliver compelling content across print, web and email platforms. This position requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions of the Role

  • Create unique content in print and electronic media using color, type, illustration, photography, animation and layout techniques.

Design and Production Execution

  • Work collaboratively to develop and execute visual design solutions for print, web, and digital platforms maintaining brand consistency across all materials.
  • Oversee the design and production of high-quality printed materials, including marketing brochures, donor impact pieces, signage, event collateral and direct mail campaigns.

Digital Design and Content Execution

  • Design and produce digital assets for email campaigns, social media, website graphics and multimedia presentations.
  • Support email execution, ensuring templates are mobile-friendly and optimized for donor engagement.

Brand Stewardship

  • Uphold and advance the Foundation's visual brand identity, ensuring all materials align with established guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to modernize design approaches, delivering fresh and innovative creative concepts.

Project Management

  • Support the production process for print and digital projects, including scheduling, vendor coordination, print bids, and proofing.
  • Ensure on-time delivery and quality control of all materials while managing project budgets effectively.
  • Manage projects with other designers/freelancers and provide clear directions and feedback.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with external vendors, freelance designers, and marketing team to execute campaigns and materials.
  • Partner with Foundation colleagues to create tailored designs that support donor engagement strategies.

Asset Management

  • Organize and maintain a digital library of assets, ensuring all materials are easily accessible and up to date.
  • Generate production-ready files that meet technical specifications for both print and digital mediums.

Key Success Factors

  • Graphic Design or directly related fields (e.g. fine arts).
  • Type of Experience: Graphic design in the creation of educational and/or communication content.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat); PowerPoint, WordPress and HTML.
  • Experience managing print production processes, including vendor relations, proofing, and delivery logistics.
  • Experience in designing and optimizing email campaigns, including experience with email marketing platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with nonprofit or donor engagement communication strategies is a plus.
  • In Lieu of Education: 10+ years Direct experience in the graphic design of educational content.
  • Budgetary Responsibility: Direct input into budget expenditures related to applications/licensure and hardware.
