We are seeking a new Flexographic Printing Press Operator (1st Shift) to join our team. Your role will be to manufacture high-quality tags and pressure-sensitive labels for a wide range of industries.

As a member of the Production department, you will work with the production scheduler, rewinders and packagers and report to our production manager.

What You Will Do:

• Operate a flexo press for the execution of customer print jobs
• Complete color and quality checks related to product specifications, visual and functional checks
• Monitor production to ensure quality printed products
• Complete all related procedures, work instructions and quality measures
• Maintain press
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

What You Will Bring:

Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills:

• High School or GED
• Visual acuity to inspect and detect small defects, determine accuracy of color and printing
• Working knowledge of operations of narrow web/flexographic presses (Mark Andy)
• Possess a mechanical aptitude with the ability to make basic machine repairs (preferable)
• Must be able to read and must possess basic math skills (percentages, figure footage, measurements, etc.)
• Must be able to maintain good attendance
• Operate material handling equipment, such as a hand truck and a pallet jack
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, walk, bend, reach, pull and lift
• Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations

Salary range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00 per hour and is commensurate with your level of experience.  We offer the following benefits:
