Job Title: Web Printing Press Operator - Company: Location: cleveland, OH Description: Web Printing Press Operator Work from work orders, scheduled, written and verbal instructions. Set up and operate single color offset and letterpress equipment to imprint items with flat or raised printing. Disassemble, clean and reassemble for ink change or shift end; mount and remove plates; change slugs, chases, etc. Adjust press guides, speed, flow, airflow, table movement and related controls. Make initial impression; check registration, inking, print. Maintain quality during run; lubricate and maintain equipment. Troubleshoot problems and notify supervision of difficulties. Exercise proper care in the use of tools, equipment and materials. Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations and unusual conditions to supervision. Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition. Lifting 50 lbs or less, 30 times per 12 hour shift.
