Job Title: Senior Graphic Designer Company: HNTB Location: Kansas City, MO Description: This creative individual works with division marketing staff to support proposal and presentation development, as well as many other graphic needs within the geographic division. This includes a wide range of print and multimedia materials such as original graphic design pieces (maps, organizational charts, flow diagrams, etc.), comprehensive layout concepts, static and multimedia presentations, as well as the coordination and production of materials. May oversee the work of less experienced staff members. Responsibilities: Work with marketing staff and pursuit teams to understand their needs and develop direction, concept and specifications for assigned projects. Work with staff to determine which design approach best communicates our message and meets the clients needs/expectations. Work with marketing staff to deliver new, innovative ideas of communicating messages both through design and technology applications. Coordinate graphic photo library and maintain electronic records. Maintain/manage graphic media assets on network in an efficient manner. Maintain/coordinate graphic department materials and equipment (projectors, display units, etc.). Perform miscellaneous job functions such as photo/document scanning and electronic document creation. Identify, choose and coordinate with vendors (internal and external) for printing/publication services, as appropriate, per project. Work with team leader to determine workload distribution and determine the need to bring in additional resources.Other duties as assigned or requested by management. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Art, Graphic Design, or related area. 5 years related experience, preferably in A/E/P industry.This positions is based in the Kansas City, MO office.
