Job Title: FT EXPERIENCED BINDERY OPERATOR Company: Location: Walla Walla, WA Description: FT Bindery operator will operate / tend machines that round, back, case, press, fold, trim, etc. in a local commercial printer. Will operate drill press (for paper), cutters, folding machine with right angle, book makers, collators, corner rounders, padder machines and other related bindery equipment necessary to do the functions of the job. Will work as part of a team in a high pressure environment with deadlines. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have two (2) years previous experience as bindery operator Good math skills - able to convert fractions to decimals (will be tested at WorkSource - 80% to pass ) Have experience operating Folding Machine, Drill Press for paper, Cutters, Corner Rounders, Book Makers, Collators, Padder Machine Ability to "Fan" with quick paper handling skills Must type minimum 40 wpm (will be tested at WorkSource) Strong basic computer skills Must be 18 years or older with required experience (to operate dangerous equipment) Must be able to multi-task, work under pressure, be organized, and flexible Must be a team player and able to work well with others Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screening (will be working with information sensitive forms and documents)HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE: Full time position will work 8.5 hours per day Monday-Thursday and 6 hours on Friday. SALARY / WAGE / BENEFITS: Hourly wage range is $10 - $14 DOE / DOQ with 60-day probation period.
