Position Summary: This position requires the set up and operation of bindery and production equipment used in the fabrication of office supplies. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision and typically reports to a supervisor. Responsibilities: Job set-up, equipment operation, mail sorting and compartmentalizing. Completion of production paperwork. Maintenance of a clean work area. Operate the folders, cutters, bursters and/or other Bindery equipment on the production floor. Prepares, sorts, and inserts non-automated mailings during the assigned time frames, to the quality standards established by the Operations Manager and Production Supervisor. Make trial runs and inspect product to verify accuracy of machine setup. Observes operation to detect machine malfunctions and makes adjustments as required. May maintain machinery in operating condition. May train workers to set up, operate, and use automatic bindery machines. This position is for 2nd shift; 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM.
