Job Description: OUTSIDE SALES CONSULTANT
Purpose of Position: The Sales Consultant is responsible for generating sales through face-to-face and telephone contact with clients and prospects. They are responsible for developing and maintaining their customer base while continually developing new clients. The consultant will do everything possible to provide exceptional service, follow through and coordination between center and client. This person is a vital part of the overall customer service provided, both in the center and in the business community, and will work closely with other team members.
This position does require use of personal vehicle for local travel in Kalamazoo County primarily. Some more extensive travel may be required for training or client meetings, but will be rare.
Primary Responsibilities:
A. Customer Sales and Service:
Sell Allegra products and services to existing and prospective
customers.
Educate customers on capabilities.
Obtain and accurately communicate customer requirements.
Serve as liaison between center and customer.
B. Operational:
Schedule sales calls.
Analyze and Develop lists of potential customers.
Maintain customer files.
Complete daily activity reports.
Track and follow up on delinquent accounts.
C. General:
Participate in daily production meetings.
Abide by company policies/procedures as outlined in the
employee manual.
Secondary Responsibilities as needed:
Assist marketing department with new materials and programs
Assist front counter and customer service as needed.
Job delivery to customers.
Answer phones and route calls

Responsibilities:
Operate Heidelberg Quick Master DI and all required department equipment without supervision. Some minor troubleshooting and repair will also be required.
Perform all press operations from make-ready, run, to clean-up.
Proactively identify, analyze and resolve problems that arise with production.
Manage ever-changing deadlines.
Document actions by completing production and quality logs as required.
Perform all press operator functions as noted on the work order/job tickets.
Interface with the Customer Service Representative (CSR) and/or the Graphic Designer
Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment; be familiar with Material Safety Data Sheets regarding chemicals used.
Clean and maintain equipment and work area following maintenance procedures and update maintenance logs.
Inform supervisor of equipment problems.
Required Skills and Experience
High School or GED equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years experience on a Heidelberg Quickmaster DI
Good mathematical skills
Able to apply written instructions to machine set-up and maintenance.
Able to move freely throughout the building and to lift paper as needed
Meet or exceed minimum test results as designated by hiring manager.
